Lama Shérab Dorjé
A dreadlocked ngakpa of the Rebkong tradition and a direct recipient of the Düdjom Tersar through Rebkong Aku Dorjé Namgyal and Rebkong Alak Gendün Gyatso, Lama Shérab Dorjé was regarded by Düdjom Jigdrel Yéshé Dorjé as his foremost regent, entrusted with Lama Ling, the Zangdok Palri temple in Kongpo and later appointed head of Dudül Rabten Ling in Orissa, in India.
Through his mastery of the practice of Tröma Nakmo and his fierce connection with the protector Rahula, he displayed unmistakable signs of high realization throughout his life, perceiving the five Buddha families and their rainbow lights in the very ground beneath his feet.
Lama Shérab Dorjé fathered one son, Lopön Jikmé Thutob Namgyal who lives and teaches in California (USA).
