Kharnang Gongma
mkhar nang gong ma/
Located on the upper part of the Do Chu and founded in 1840, Kharnang Gongma is a monastery fully dedicated to the Düdjom Tersar lineage.
Several key figures journeyed and taught there, such as Düdjom Lingpa, Tulku Drimé Özer, and Déwé Dorjé Sera Khando. Nowadays, Tulku Lungrik Gyasto, a fourth generation descendant of Düdjom Lingpa (and an elder brother of Tulku Jikmé Wangdrak), oversees Kharnang Gongma.

Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
