Dorjé Naljorma
Appearance
Dorjé Naljorma (Skt. Vajrayogini) is a wisdom dakini. Her practice is especially popular in the Highest Yoga section of the new tantras of the Kagyü, Sakya and Géluk traditions.
In the Nyingma tradition, she often represents the inner aspect of Dakini practice and can appear in the form of Dorjé Pakmo (Vajravarahi) as a singular practice dakini, or is the consort of Hayagiva and other male Herukas. Also, Dorjé Naljorma is the supreme dakini of all the myriad dakas and dakinis of the twenty-four sacred places, the thirty-two sacred lands and the eight charnel grounds in Indian tantric geography.
Within the termas of Düdjom Lingpa, there are empowerments and practices of Dorjé Naljorma in the Chönyi Namkha Longdzö terma cycle.
