Dorjé Pakmo
rdo rje phag mo
Dorjé Pakmo (Skt. Vajravarahi) is the root emanation of all dakinis. She is also the consort of Chakrasamvara and Hayagriva. Her depiction is mostly similar as Vajrayogini, but a wild sow's head is protruding from her crown, hence her name is translated as 'Indestructible Wild Sow'.
Within Düdjom Lingpa’s terma, there are an empowerment and practices for Dorjé Pakmo. In the Düdjom Tersar, Dorjé Pakmo is the sambhogakaya aspect of Tröma Nakmo.
Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
