Ralchikma
Ralchikma (Skt. Ekadzati) is the primary chökyong (protector) of the Dzogchen teachings.
Considered a manifestation of Samantabhadri, she is a wisdom protector. She is depicted with a single strand of hair (the literal meaning of her name), a single eye and a single breast.
Within the Düdjom Tersar lineage, her role includes protecting the terma teachings, lineage holders and practitioners on the path. Düdjom Lingpa revealed termas related to Ralchikma within his Chönyi Namkha Longdzö terma cycle.
Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
