Potsong Chörten
po tsong mchod rten
Located on the banks of the Mar Chu, the Potsong Chörten, the stupa of Potsong mountain, is one of the sacred places where Düdjom Lingpa discovered terma objects related to his Zabsang Khandro Nyingtik terma cycle.
Other places of this terma cycle are Shadrak Dorje Dzong (on the banks of the Ser Chu), the Gyedrö Chorten, Tashi Gomang and Chakri Öbar (all three on the banks of the Mar Chu).

Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
