Pal Nyenlung Tekchen Chökor Ling
Founded in 1797 by Lama Sangngak, Nyenlung is a Nyingma monastery in Serta, Golok. A branch of Katok Dorje Den Monastery, it became renowned in the twentieth century after being revived by the tertön couple Taré Lhamo and Namtrul Jikmé Püntsok. The monastery, which now houses 300 monks, holds the lineages of Apang Tertön, Taré Lhamo, and Namtrul Jikmé Püntsok. It is currently under the care of Tulku Lhaksam Namdak (the son of Namtrul Jikmé Püntsok).

Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners.
