Namchak Pudri
Within the Zabsang Khandro Nyingtik (‘The Profound Doctrine of the Heart Essence of the Dakinis’) terma cycle, revealed as a sater in 1859 by Düdjom Lingpa, there is the Vajrakilaya practice called Tukdrub Sangwa Gyachen.
In the first part of the 20th century, Düdjom Jigdrel Yeshe Dorje (1904-1987), used the Tukdrub Sangwa Gyachen Vajrakilaya cycle revealed by his predecessor, and wrote the Namchak Pudri. Along with the Phurba Deshek Nyingpo (revealed by Düdjom Lingpa) and the Pudri Rekpung (revealed by Düdjom Jigdrel Yeshe Dorje), the Namchak Pudri is currently one of the three main Vajrakilaya practices of the Düdjom Tersar lineage.
Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
