Lhündrub Tögal
Along with kadak trekchö, lhundrub tögal comprises one of the two main aspects of Dzogchen practice. Translated as "direct crossing" or "leapover," tögal is a profound method that can swiftly bring about the actual realization of the three kayas in this lifetime, rapidly dissolving the practitioner's karmic vision through the actualization of spontaneous presence (lhündrup). This practice can only be undertaken by practitioners who have first gained stability in the view of primordial purity (kadak trekchö).
Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
Today, Namtars Foundation aims to record, preserve, and freely offer the world a written and electronic treasury of the oral wisdom of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism.
