Drimé Shak Gyü
‘The Immaculate Confession Tantra’, the Drimé Shak Gyü is a tantra that, as its name conveys, deals with the confession and purification of tantric vows. It was translated into Tibetan by Vimalamitra and Nyak Jnanakumara. The full title of the tantra can be translated as "The King of the Immaculate Tantra of All Confessions, the Five Teachings for Repairing All Degenerations of Samaya."
Since the early 8th century, Tibetans and Himalayan people have treasured "Namtars" as written or spoken narratives that demonstrate the realization of the Buddhist path by exceptional practitioners. These namtars, or spiritual biographies, serve as inspirational guides on the path to enlightenment.
